So as faith would have it,the year I finally made 3 weeks paid vacation is the year that I've decided to grow up and make better financial decisions. Meaning I would have to cut back on my wild spontaneous travels... just a lil' bit.
But hey life give you lemons you make lemon meringue.

New York is one of the greatest cities in the world and I'm so blessed to call it home... (for now) so why not make the best of it. Why not do the things that tourists travel from all over the world to experience.
This is my plan for 2016.

And as faith would have it, I got 4 free tickets to a Mets game....
So I grabbed my brother, my boyfriend as his cousin and we headed out to Citi Field to see my first ever baseball game... to write my first ever explore NY post.

Upon arrival the weather was pretty good, however by the time we were seated the temperatures dropped, luckily I had a warm coat and a blanket... yes blanket, I'm no fun when I'm cold. Would you believe they served hot chocolate?... you know I  had to get some, it was delicious and to my surprise hot.
The game was great, much more exciting in person than on tv. The crowd was energetic and riled up and I joined in on the fun.
Unfortunately I was cheering for the hot guys not necessarily the home team lol.

There were snacks galore and of course I had to part take. I mean what's a NY base ball game without the salted pretzels and caramelized crackerjacks... what's life without snacks?

Although the Mets didn't win, I still had a blast.
So that's one fun thing you've got to experience in NY.

Hmmm what's next? Any ideas.
